Repost for Tshak
From Tim's LJ

I've got a full bar that needs to be cleared out so that I can sell it before I move to my new condo. Next Friday , October 1st, you all need to make your way to Magnolia and help me out. We're going to have live DJs the entire night, so be prepared to shake that bootay as well. The festivities start at 9pm but if you want to bring something for the grill come by a couple hours earlier for a pre-party BBQ. Address is 4243, 28th PL W - just minutes from the city, but you'll want to print these directions ( www.tshak.net/party )as it can be a little tricky to get to.

I hope to see you all there!

You all should come

Booty House
I was thinking in honor of my last set at 4* that I would play booty house. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves when I do. Please comment if anyone thinks that playing booty house this week is a stupid idea.

...Friday, Saturday, chilled on Sunday.
You know, I tried for a while to come up with some of my usual not-that-witty banter for the intro to this email, but the sun outside my office window is preventing me from having any real coherent thought. So just pretend I said something really hysterical in this paragraph, and we'll get on with telling you why you should spend your weekend with UHF.

On Friday, come out to where everybody knows your name, and everyone's name is Ed:

- - - - - F O U R S T A R F R I D A Y S - - - - -

Come on down for one of the VERY LAST Four Stars to happen at the Deep Down. In a few years when you're paying $30 to see UHF DJs at the Showbox, just stopping by Seattle on their world tour, you can say "man, they were so much cooler before they sold out and ended their free club night." This week it's:

PIXEL vs BO: Mr Pixel and Senor Bo will be playing some house music for you all. It will be funky. It may be somewhat Latin. It will most definitely cause your ass to shake uncontrollably. Please take proper precautions.

TYLER "motherfucking" SEATON: Okay, did you SEE this badass play at Phoenix Fest? There is no more amazing sight than Tyler on the decks on Saturday morning, sun shining, cigarette hanging out of his mouth, blasting gangsta rap with umpteen zillion watts of sound. He will not play gangsta rap tonight, though. Well maybe, if you spank him.

CHARLIE "wardrobe malfunction" B: By far the most consistently snappy dresser in the crew, Charlie will be dropping the "commercial" jams you may have heard on the radio, or in crappy clubs played by crappy DJs. It's funny how much better Justin Timberlake can sound when played by a real DJ in a cozy space. Not to be missed!

As awesome as Four Star is, just wait til you see what we've got cooking now on Saturdays...

This week is the official premiere of our new weekly SATURDAY night at Merchants Cafe in Pioneer Square. Merchants is one of the oldest bars in Seattle, with all sorts of cozy wood, loud sound, stiff drinks, and ensured good times. UHF will be bringing some slick and sexy to the madness that is Pioneer Square, and we want your help to do it! This week, we've got:

TYLER SEATON: See above. He will kick as much, if not more ass the next night. A++++ WOULD DANCE TO AGAIN.

DJ SWANK: He has been playing DnB at Four Star, but we're making him drag his house back out of the closet for Merchants. He's got more house records than God, more divas than the First Baptist Church of Compton, and more facial hair than Jesus.

JIZOSH: I'm really running out of things to say about this guy. He will play the jams. You will dance to them. This is our arrangement.

- - - - - OFF THE DEEP END @ OSEAO.COM - - - - -

Jizosh's weekly radio show on Oseao.com is a great way to nurse your Sunday afternoon hangover. Kick it on the couch, play NES with the sound off, and play the stream from Oseao.com from 3p to 6p. You'll be glad you did.

Also, one blatant plug, for those of you that read this far...

I made this website. It's called Spiceplay.com. We have porn and iPods. Well really just one iPod. And a Palm Pilot. And a few of your friends, probably. Oh and did I mention all the HOT NAKED GIRLS? Yeah, those too.

House & Techno benefit show tonight!

The Phoenix (July 1-5) and Decibel (September 23-26) festivals don't just appear out of nowhere: They need mucho dinero to manifest. Hence this gig. You can generate revenue and good karma while witnessing many of Seattle's most talented producers and DJs flex their skills in Oseao's aesthetically pleasing environs. World-class tech-house artists Jeff Samuel and Jacob London are ably supported by local stalwarts Brandy Westmore, Nordic Soul, Eddie Nonog, and Jizosh and Swank. All of these folks will play the Phoenix's Rhythm Circuit Stage. Discounted Phoenix tix available at this event. Oseao Gallery of the Senses, 1402 E Pike St, 568-0291, 10 pm to after-hours, all ages, $7 before 2 am, $5 after. -Dave Segal, The Stranger

Just like any other Sunday, I will be broadcasting a deep house radio show from Oseao.com from 3-6pm (Pacific Time). This week's guest is DJ Pixel from UHF, and we'll be playing stuff all over the board. We'd love to have you tune in.

Some things...
Tonight, myself and a few other UHFers are playing at Aristocrats. I'm playing from 10-11, then heading over to do 4*. I don't currently have anyone on my guestlist, so if you wanna go, lemme know. I'm playing in the upstairs room, which is 21+...sorry kids.

Tomorrow Mr. Swank and I will be playing at a rave thing that is benefiting nwtekno.org. Our lists are full for that show, but it's only $10, which is cheap if you're under 21 and you want to rave til dawn. We play from 1-230am in the "nwtekno room" upstairs I guess.

Now that all you kids are at least 21, i don't how effective asking this question here would be, but then again some of you are more in the dancing loop than I am.

Are there any decent events coming up for all age kids? I haven't been to grody rave in quite some time, so I have no idea what's up anymore. But I do know I want to dance :]

if nothing exists, minding sneaking me into one of your UHF nights?
I swear I can fit into a record bin.

Keeping You In The Loop
Shit, I forgot about this community. Umm...I'm playing @ "Bus Stop" tomorrow night from 11-12. It's Tom (Juice's) birthday as well as our own endquote's birthday. It's a new night @ a new club...check their site for details.

Then there is 4* on Friday. You all know about 4* so I don't need to explain it. This week is dnb & house, from the likes of sudhama, Swank, Pixel, and myself (in for Tyler Seaton). This will be Phase 2 of endquote's birthday celebration.

Saturday is endquote's *official* birthday shindig, where he has reserved the back room @ Chop Suey for all his guests. I am playing some deep house from 1030-1130, followed by Wesley Holmes and Jamie Thinnes (LA, Seasons Recordings). This is going to be a hell of a party.

As always, you can get the specifics from checking http://unitedhousefront.com/

Hey kids...

In the off chance you're looking to rave it up tonight, I'm playing a party called Spliff at "The Hall" on Capitol Hill. I play from 1-2 in the upstairs room I believe. I already have a full posse on my guest list, so I don't think I can squeeze anyone else in, but the kids doing the show are cool, and they are worth supporting for sure.

Also, there's a cocktail house party in Ballard that pretty much all of us are going to tonight. It's dress to impress and all that jazz, but if you own a tie and want to kick it tonight, hit me up and I'll get you the info.

Four Star Friday! [04/23] [21+] [FREE]

It's Friday, and you b*tches know what that means!

This week's lineup is HOTT...

- RAMA [Mash-Up Bidness] (11:30-12:45)
This man needs no intro. He has told me that tonight
he plans to dust off some old jump-up & party jungle
jams that are guaranteed to keep the place bubblin.

- TEXEL vs. SWANK [Sleaze-N-Bass] (10-11:30)
Texel is paying us a visit from the lands of Philly, PA.
You may have caught him ripping it for us a few months ago.
Paired with our man Swank, this set is going to smoke.

- BO [Deep & Tech House] (12:45-1:45)
If you need proof the 303 is not dead, Bo's your man.
He's been feeling the Chi-town vibes recently, and he'll
be closing things out with a bit of deep & techy house.

As always, this is located @ The Deep Down Lounge in the basement of Temple
The address is 126 S. Jackson, between 1st & Occidental in Pioneer Square.

This is a FREE event with no drink minimum or any of that nonsense. 21+
